My boyfriend and I decided to walk around and explore the neighborhood the other day. It was a nice break from the usual rush of Manhattan. I like our neighborhood because it's calm and quiet, but there is still enough going on to not get boring. I suppose that's why most people enjoy Brooklyn neighborhoods. As exciting as Manhattan is, it's way too overwhelming at times.

This crop top is one of my favorites. I love the color and material. I decided to show of a body chain that I've recently made. It's a really simple piece, but I think it really pulls the outfit together. I love being able to wear something that I created. More pieces of mine will soon be done and hopefully up for sale.

First Outfit Post

Since moving to NYC, my level of production has sky-rocketed. I have learned that my time is valuable and every moment must be spent wisely. Every free moment is an opportunity to grow and try something new. Recently I have been working more on sewing and making garments. Here, I am wearing a simple set of garters that I made out of elastic along with a collar made from patten leather that I hand cut myself. The streets of NYC are so inspiring. After long days of walking around Manhattan, I unwind by creating.
